College Freshmen GirlTip: Everyone might be saying it’s going to be the best four years of your life, but yeah no, guess what? College is often like any other time of life, and the first few weeks — or months — can suck. So let go of the pressure to act like it’s all good, don’t beat yourself up if it’s not, & parents, please DO NOT idealize an experience that is filled with anxiety, friendship shifts, self-consciousness & the occasional crying in one’s bed (I don’t know anything about that myself).
