SAY WHAT YOU MEAN, BE WHO YOU ARE: Skills for Emerging Leaders
Join Rachel’s workshop at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY from June 27-29, 2014.

Today’s culture sends young women conflicting messages about power: be strong, but don’t make waves; be successful, but don’t brag; be ambitious, but give to others before yourself. The pressure to be nice, please others, or achieve perfection can stifle your confidence to speak up, pursue a new opportunity, or disagree with a peer or authority.

This workshop encourages healthy risk-taking and freedom from the fear of failure at a time when young women are confronted with pivotal choices and new experiences. In a fun, supportive, and hands-on way, you engage in activities ranging from journaling and meditation, to creative games, role-play, goal setting, and discussions.

You develop a set of skills to lead, listen deeply to yourself and others, and fully communicate your needs, thoughts, and feelings in your most important relationships.

Open to young women ages 18–29.

Register here.

Do you do events on the east coast for younger girls (my daughter is 8 1/2)?
We are in Upstate New York (near Omega)
