Painful emotions don’t only mean life is hard. They’re a sign from within that it may be time to make a choice. Sadness & anger are opportunities for change: in relationships, work, school and spirit. Listen to the feelings: what choices are they asking you to make?

    This rings very true, especially at this point of my life…I had been feeling really sad about some things that seemed “minor” but when I thought about it (after reading this tip) I realized that there were some other underlying situations that needed change. Thanks.

    But i belive sometimes it is healthy to embrace the pain if only for a moment. you cant go around thinking every time you make a descision your going to avoid pain.

    This is very true. Many times we feel confused when we experience painful emotions because our focus is on the pain.But if we stayed calm and listened to those emotions, we would have realised it was time to move on.
