there is something about lady gaga that drives girls' confidence. her wild sense of fashion made girls realize that they could step out of their boxes and freely show their individuality.

im going to have to disagree on this one. i feel that lady gaga is doing the opposite; she is enforcing the idea that girls need to dress in these ways and act in these ways to get attention! because im pretty sure we can all agree that she isnt about to become the next madonna for her "inspiring music and incredible singing voice". Like the comment left by Cristi Yamagutchi, lady gaga is famous for her extremity in costumes and vulgar lyrics, not for pure unconditional talent. i don't think she would be as famous as she is today if it weren't for her costume designer. just watching her music videos, you can see her reinforcing the idea that girls are just sex objects for men's pleasure and there is nothing wrong with going out all night, getting drunk or high, and then doing it all again the next day. but, i must admit, that lily did make some very good points, but i just don't believe society sees that side of it; we see the crazy, inappropriate side! if i were a mother, i definitely wouldn't want my daughter looking up to her as a role model. i'd take miley cyrus over lady gaga any day!

see this is where i disagree. i believe "lady gaga" sold herself in order to get quick fame. if you listen to songs from before she dropped her name and her talent, you'll see what i mean. stefani germanotti was and is a much more talented individual, but she changed her style because there were too many others similar to her and she needed something different. it may have worked for her, but i would have respected her more if she worked for her fame rather than taking the easy route of and dressing in flamboyant costumes to gain the attention of men to decide her popularity.

This is a great article. Wow, so many of these things I never thought of before. I

read posts often, even on this side, and I think it is great, but I make time to

leave a comment. From the outset, to ensure more comments.by Jordan shoes
